The Alaskan 10' Pickup Truck Camper back
The ten foot Alaskan is a very popular model. When compared to the eight foot Alaskan Camper you will find it has additional space that better accomodates the needs of a family with children. Some of it's standard features include, a 27 gallon water tank with a demand pump, a three burner range top and oven, a 16,000 BTU electronic ignition furnace, a stainless steel sink, a battery charger/converter, a 2 cubic foot three way refrigerator and an electric hydraulic system for raising the top. It is an excellent value.
The Ten Foot Alaskan Camper is best suited for a 3/4 ton truck. The camper extends to the end of the tailgate and does not require the removal of the tailgate.
The front dinette model has been our most popular floor plan. It has two extra drawers under a larger kitchen counter which also has a double sink instead of a single sink. In addition to the larger food preparation area the Alaskan ten foot camper has a second closet which can be outfitted with optional drawers. The dinette which easily converts to a 78" X 50" bed is six inches wider in the ten foot Alaskan. As you would expect it also has more overhead cabinet storage. The dinette table on the front dinette model stores safely and securely on the ceiling, up and out of the way until needed. If additional storage is needed you can substitute two twenty-two by twenty dovetailed drawers for the oven and still have the three burner Wedgwood range top.
