He has a passion for motorcycles, airplanes, camping and traveling. His current love is his Bellanca Cruisemaster also known as the Bellance 14-19-3. It reminds him of Lockheed Super Constellation which just happened to be more plane than he could afford. Don considers his Bellanca a good second choice. It was built in 1959. This model Bellanca was only built for two year with production ending in 1960. He started riding BMW motorcycles in 1959 while he was attending the University of Minnesota, Duluth, UMD. At that time only one other rider was on campus and he rode an Eagle. His first BMW was a R26, a little 300 cc single. Today his ride is a 2004 BMW R1200CL, never mind what it indicates on the picture.
It is Black, of course with the added touch of white pin stripping all in keeping with the original BMWs. |
